GamingLives at GamesCom 2011

2011 has been a big year for GamingLives, with our first visits to PAX East and E3 standing as lasting memories on our path to intergalactic domination. We can’t stop there though, and it’s only fair that we continue with our year of big by trudging the hallowed halls at the world’s largest trade fair for interactive games and entertainment: GamesCom.

All next week, Ben, Lee, Markuz and Samuel we will be in Cologne bringing you more previews, more interviews and, most importantly, more detailed looks at the games we’re just months away from holding in our hands. As ever, all of our coverage will be accessible through the “Browse GL” menu, as well as the “GamesCom 2011″ ad that we’ll have on the front page nearer the time, but for all of the first impressions, and to be in with the chance to get involved with our coverage of the event, make sure that you’re following @GamingLives on Twitter and have liked our Facebook page. We’ll also be uploading the newest trailers to our YouTube channel, summing up our daily experiences with a podcast, and anything particularly awesome will be added right here in our GLNews section.

As if that’s not enough, we’ve also teamed up with Electronic Arts to put two of our writers, Adam and Joe, right in the thick of it with an all access pass to EA’s presence at the show. They will be reporting from EA’s Press Conference and then taking some in depth looks at the likes of Battlefield 3, Need for Speed: The Run, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Mass Effect 3 and invite you to put some questions of your own to the leading minds of EA by tweeting with the hashtag #eaukgc2011.

It’s going to be an exciting week on GamingLives and if there’s something you’d like us to take a look at, feel free to post below in our comments section to let us know.

MASS EFFECT 3! If you get any details about the multiplayer, I will drink them all up. I pray it isn’t as awful as I’m expecting it to be.
Also, have a nice time guys. Very, very jealous of y’all. Adam and Joe, I know you’ll do both GL and EA proud. Ben, Lee, Mark … may the Force be with you.

Good ol’ Germany can be happy to welcome such an awesome bunch. Viel Spaß in Köln and all that ;) I’m still mad that I won’t be there though. The amount of jealous, I can’t even tell…

  3. Chris Toffer says:

I’ll equally ‘drink’ any info on Battlefield 3!
