DotA 2 – Interview with Valve’s Erik Johnson

Lee talks to Erik Johnson from Valve, the Senior Project Manager on Defense of the Ancients 2 about building a sequel to a game that started off as a mod, e-sports, balancing out the heroes and the possibility of a DotA hat shop. As well as that, we also have some Gamescom 2011 DotA 2 t-shirt double packs to give away, including the limited edition tournament shirt, a character shirt and DotA 2 lanyard.
Don’t expect the prizes to be sent off until we’re back in the UK… bigger fish to fry.

Great job with the interview, Lee.
Questions were in depth and knowledgeable, and that helped me a lot considering I’d never even heard of the games before Valve announced the second one. Should be a really interesting title when it hits the shelves, but I’ll be looking forward to finding out more!
