Joe Danger: The Movie Interview with Sean Murray

You may be forgiven for thinking that the halls of Gamescom 2011 are filled with nothing but city-block sized booths from the gaming world’s biggest players and, while there are indeed times that it does feel like that, it may not always be the case. Within the heart of Hall 8, surrounded by the likes of Batman: Arkham City, Nintendo, and Sega sits a rather humble booth; one that belongs to Guildford based indie developer Hello Games. Known for their colourful, quirky, comedic and immensely fun Playstation Network title Joe Danger, the team have made the trip to Germany to lift the lid on their latest project – Joe Danger: The Movie.

Pull up a chair, pour your favourite brew and watch as Lee talks to Sean Murray about not only what we can expect from the game, but also one pretty amazing road trip.  We were also kindly granted an extensive hands on session with the game so stay tuned in the upcoming weeks for our preview.

Was seriously impressed with this when lucky enough to play it. Quite liked the original but this one just surpasses it in every way, so much fun.

What a lovely guy. Glad to see they’re so passionate about the game, and it’s incredible that they’ve made that journey. That roadtrip must have been one of the most interesting things we’ve never seen!
