EDF 2017 Gets PS Vita Release
by GL News
For many of those lovers of cult cheese-fest, Earth Defense Force 2017, last year’s EDF: Insect Armageddon was something of a let down. Indeed, GLHQ’s resident EDF-aholic, Richie, actually cried blood at the game. All is not lost, however, as the bug-hunt classic, EDF 2017, is due to release on the shiny PS Vita this winter. It will support up to four players, and includes new missions, although further details as to changes or new features are scant. The game launched in Japan today, but is currently being localised for North American shores in preparation for the Winter 2012 release. Sadly, there is no word yet on the European release, but since the PS Vita isn’t region locked, the impatient among you can import a copy. Let’s just hope they’ve fixed the damn vehicles.
