Win A Cameo In The Witcher 2!

Ever wanted appear in a game? Well, now’s your big chance because Namco Bandai and CD Projekt RED are offering two people the chance to win a cameo appearance in the upcoming title, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.  The Witcher 2 is the second part in the (already) infamous RPG series which has a reputation for dark and mature themes and story.  The compo takes the form of a costume contest, with entrants tasked to become their favourite character from the world of the Witcher.  The contest is a playful nod to the in-game characters known as Dopplers who take on the roles of their human victims.  Don’t worry if your costume skills aren’t up to par though because the judges aren’t looking for the best store-bought piece of embroidered wonderment; they are more keen on creativity and resourcefulness, so get your thimbles out.

Entrants have to be 18 or over – it is the Witcher after all – and have to get their best pictures in to CD Projekt RED before 15th November to be in with a chance.

If getting an in-game cameo wasn’t enough the winners will also snag copies of the game prior to release so they can admire themselves and boast to all and sundry – as long as their character isn’t a decomposing corpse or prostitute that is. Now that would be funny.
