Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Beta

In a move which should delight impatient assassins everywhere, Ubisoft have today announced details about the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Multiplayer beta which opens up on 4th October.  Available exclusively on the PS3 (sorry Boxers) to anyone who has pre-ordered one of the various incarnations of the game, the beta offers the chance to get stuck into the game’s highly publicised multiplayer mode.

If you haven’t yet pre-ordered, then don’t marry your throwing stars with your wrists just yet because Gamespot are running a giveaway with access to the beta up for grabs here.

The game offers the chance to choose from nine different characters, including the priest, courtesan, and executioner, each with their own unique weaponry and moves and engage in up to eight player multiplayer over two different modes:

  • Wanted – challenges players to get the higher score by killing their assigned targets and escaping their hunters in clever ways.
  • Alliance – allows players to compete cooperatively in teams of two, fulfill contracts and confuse enemies in tandem.

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood will be swooping into shops on 18th November 2010 for Xbox360 and PS3.  The game won’t hit the PC until 2011 though, sorry folks.
