Mortal Kombat Characters & DLC Confirmed

The first wave of Mortal Kombat characters for the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Rebirth have been confirmed in a screenshot of the character selection screen, revealed by playfront.de.  Cementing what we could already glean from the gameplay trailer in our recent news coverage, it would appear that Scorpion, Milleena, Reptile, Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, Johnny Cage, Night Wolf and Sektor are the starter characters with at least 18 others to be unlocked.  However, if you take a good peep at the lower right box, it would appear that there is already some DLC in the works with one character earmarked as DLC content.  Whether this mystery character will be an old favourite or a new face remains to be seen.  Bring it on!
