Fans of the force who have been waiting for the game’s Autumn release will be pleased (or not, depending on their love of Steelbooks) to know that Activision have announced details of the Star Wars®: The Force Unleashed™ II limited Collector’s Edition which includes the following:

So, once again, another game goes down the overly worn route of Steelbook and extra content, rather than anything too exciting or imaginative.  Still, the Mimobot flash drive is a nice addition, though the idea of a digital art book and script won’t appeal to everyone…here at GamingLives HQ, we can’t help wishing they’d gone for something a little more tactile…after all, art books in limited editions are now par for the course, (and almost always welcome) so if they are going down the bog-standard route of a Steelbook anyway, where was the harm?  Still, the packaging does look undeniably gorgeous and will no doubt be slipping onto the shelves of many collectors come its eagerly awaited release.
