So the game came out last night at 1AM and i played it with my friend and for the first 2 hours we rocked out hard until we got tired and went to sleep.

My general feedback on the game.

Gameplays good, Graphics are great especially if your looking to run this when your out and about runs great on most laptops including mine downstairs, It uses what I like to call the Quake 4 Engine, Theirs no lag on PC there is rubber banding when you load into a round for the first 20 seconds and then from there on its a perfect 20 minutes of pure action packed game play.

Character Customization is done all via unlocking in Multiplayer, lots of dedicated servers, something you won't find on the 360, steam has tools provided to let you host your own dedicated server.

Most people tend to say all the maps look the same, If all the maps looked the same I'd be playing the same map 24/7, Me and my friend had no problem with any of the maps they were all vibrant and if you have to be honest if you say all the maps in Brink look the same, all the maps in any FPS Game look the same

You have challenges, Parkour, Tower Defense, Objective, Escort
You have Campaign Coop up to 8 player Coop, so it's great if you get a bunch of friends together to rock out with.

You have freeplay which is mainly the online mode it's all Objective/Campaign/Challenge on dedicated servers. PvP or against people can be up to 16 people I think? It might be even more, I mean Quake 4 supports up to 64 Slot servers on EW so eventually someone might make a mod to support more.

The game is highly moddeble from the PC Side, As it uses the ID Tech 4 Engine you can craft mods off the game with quite alot of work and it would be great to see what people can do with brink, Maps, Mods, Skins pretty much everything.

There are a few bugs that i've encountered, there is currently an audio bug that mutes everything for about 5-10minutes until the round is over but if your playing with loud music in the background it doesn't matter so much.

There is a ATI Graphics texture bug where if you haven't updated to the latest drivers all the textures/weapons will come out in a checkered format with lines between each square but if anything thats "Users" problems and not the games.

Besides that your ready to go, Have fun Enjoy Brink! It's going to be here for a long long time.

I picked it up this morning after a few folk were telling me to go for it (I'm weak). Had to stop for a bit cos I have a killer headache but seems fun so far. Couple of bits of lag but it could also have been the camera jolting as it's a wobbly game at times. I'm not going to count my chickens and maybe when I next pop on it'll be lagtastic but so far I think it seems pretty cool.

Personally I'm enjoying it alot on 360.

then again i loved shadowrun as well but brink is gunna go the same way. They created a awesome sounding back story but lack any real campaign mode

I played for maybe an hour? If not more and only a few things have unlocked. It's stuff like different trousers etc. Not game changing, just a bit of fun to arse around with. Think the game'll be too frantic to stop and go "Ooo I do like the colour of your belt".
