The number of people that bought those stupid plastic controller add-ons for Wii Sports was scary, and who's going to find that a tiny plastic tennis racket head will improve their Wii Tennis experience?
Those things must have cost about 20p to make, and some packs were selling for £25!
Totally agree - spent god knows how long standing in GAME one day while Lorna browsed the shelves... and I couldn't move away from the end-aisle that had the Wii peripherals. I was literally glued to the spot in a mixture of disgust and disbelief... probably like any guy that's ever had Jordan spread her legs for him and wished he hadn't seen it but couldn't stop looking at the horror... but the tennis racket, the golf club, the fishing reel, the lightsabre, the sword... all made from the cheapest plastic you can possibly find, and all massively overpriced. Charlatans!

I actually watched a woman in GAME force peripherals on a poor woman who was buying a Wii for her son once. The woman behind the counter was saying "if you buy a second controller to go with Wii Sports Resort you'll need to buy a second motion+ add on otherwise the controller wont work." I leaned over and said "actually you don't need it, the second controller will still work, but it wont be quite as responsive". The woman never bought it and I felt good lol.
