I live with a Doctor Who fanatic, and I now know what to get him for Christmas!
This thread has me baffled... it's almost as though someone is literally TRYING to make the Wii functional. What the hell!? That would destroy everything that I stand for... the Wii is, and will remain, the only white entertainment appliance under the TV whose sole purpose is to be covered in dust and glow every now and again. That's it. No more purpose. STOP MAKING GIMMICKS FOR THE REDUNDANT PLASTIC THING!!!!

There is a certain irony that I do use my Wii, increasingly too, and I've not bought any of these peripherals because they're utterly pointless. Hell, I've not even bothered to buy the Motion Plus attachment, as it isn't compatible with the vast majority of games. The only non-standard peripherals I've got for my Wii are a Classic Controller Pro, and the Wii Zapper. And only because those came bundled with Monster Hunter Tri and Link's Crossbow Training respectively.
I don't want to know what game exists on the Wii that lets you use a vibrating dildo thing.
These actually look quite cool.
im still not buying one though
they certainly look better than the Wiimote addons but they're still overpriced, pointless tat. I might buy Move, but I'm not buying pointless add ons
Nope. Move itself looks good, the peripherals are pointless and shit lol
I agree Iain, totally. I can understand why the masses fall over themselves for the Wii and the activity aspect of playing it... but fuck off... ok so you're playing table tennis but do you really need a fucking paddle too?? Also, swords?! Steering wheels which are non functional apart from the fact that they house the wiimote which controls your playing... I just can't understand people buying into all that. The motion thing I get, even if I don't like it, but buying pointless pieces of plastic to house your controller just so it LOOKS more realistic with what you're doing. Idiocy.
