Connect via Facebook
New Users
First off, greetings!
But if you are reading this and currently do not have an account, perhaps because you hate the tedious registration process, or have a phobia of forms – either way, help is at hand.
Simply click the connect via Facebook button that is located at the top of the page and the registration process becomes even quicker and less painless.
Already Registered
If you’ve already registered for the forums then you know we love you (may not be true in some cases), but you may be wondering if there’s any Facebook love for you as well – of course there is!
Simply head into your settings page (or click here)and scroll down until you find the Facebook bridge options.
From here you’ll be able to ‘bridge’ your forum account with your Facebook account and then you’ll have a whole host of options you can enable should you desire.
Why connect?
If you don’t want to connect then nobody will force you to, however there are one or two advantages to doing so.
Sharing
Should you see a post you like and have the Facebook bridge in place you can easily click the “share” button and that post will automatically transferred to your Facebook wall.
Invite Friends
If you happen to know a few people that you think might like the forums then you can simple invite them all in one simple click of a button.
Notifications
So you’re browsing Facebook and wondering if anyone has posted on your thread yet, in the middle of a game of Farmville and don’t want to leave to check? Have no fear because with the bridge in place you’ll receive Facebook notifications for a whole host of options, all of which you can set individually in your user settings.
