Achievements: the good, bad, and downright ugly

Thanks to Trials Evolution bringing me back to the game and thanks to Ed's Life's A Game that accompanied me while I tried for the last achievement and played the same level over and over on the Donkey bike.

Maxed my first ever game last night. I know its nothing compared to the rest of you, but I'm mighty proud.

I HAD maxed out Oblivion until they released the DLC and it screwed up the max for me, as I didn't like Shivering Isles enough to complete it. I don't think. Maybe I did. No, I don't think I did. I maxed out Fallout 3 and Skyrim on the PC, but didn't max out Borderlands because I need the cheev for playing with someone from Gearbox, but I maxed it out on the Xbox.

I fear that I may never max another Xbox game if MS keep going down the route that they are - the whole 'entertainment center' bullshit thing. It is driving me further away from consoles and back to PCs... games have been relegated to mutant-cousin status on the dashboard, I can't find anything game related, not even how to fucking install anything and it took twenty minutes of pure rage to find my achievement panels that I used to love scrolling along, recently. Fuck that. It is looking like I may jump ship to PC for good, in which case Steam achievements will be my new thing... or, horror... Trophies. Nah, I couldn't face Trophies They sound naff. And I'd have to do Mirror's Edge all over again.

To my embarrassment, my maxed list has International Cricket 2010, WWE Legends of Wrestlemania and Beyond Good and Evil. And I think it says a lot that it took me longest to max BGAE.
