You really need to take stock of what you are actually doing. I mean, come on. Setting up two 360's, two copies of the game and letting them run for 100 hours to unlock an achievement? I like achievements, but there is no way I'd go to them lengths to unlock a few paltry G's. I think I found the affliction that's stopping you from enjoying games, and it be named achievement whoritis. Break free from the whole gamer score thing and just do it on the games that you like to play. Games are not meant to be a chore, but setting something like this up to definitely is.
Already sounds like a horrible achievement. Only used rubber bands for one achievement and that was to fly 10,000 miles in Superman on 360. I had beaten the game, used maps to find the 100 kittens, completed all the challenges and won all the races and still had only flown about 2000 miles. It was an overnight, work next day, and a little bit of the next evening to reach that one.
I also had to prise the controller into the bottom of tv stand so it kept one of the bumper buttons pressed in to fly the super sonic speeds and turn the rumble feature off to stop it vibrating itself away from the tv stand.
Never said that I didn't enjoy games, just that I can't be that bothered playing them most of the time lately.I'm not and never have been a gamerscore whore, I just like to complete and max out games that I like and ones that I play. I don't play stuff just for easy points - that would make me a whore. Nah, C&C was a play very early on in my Xbox life and it got stuck on my tag. I like stuff complete and if I can max out a game that is on my tag, then great...this was always going to be a bitch, but once it is running it isn't that bad...just as long as I mute the dramatic muzak! Re-ignited my interest in he rest of the game too, so not too bad. Still no way I will ever get the Petrovic achievement in GTA4 though which is a fucking cunt
I remember you mentioning that Superman one Rook...sounds like a bastard cheev for a game that was apparently over very quickly.

I'm going for the beat Mass Effect 2 on Insanity difficulty. It certainly lives up to it's name. I think I've died in every major firefight.
As soon as my sis goes home, I'll be back to my dual Xbox rig for the No Life cheev and also working on the single player modes. They will be a complete bastard on C&C 3 because the difficulties don't stack. That's 9 fucking playthroughs - 3 for each faction. Still...Michael Ironside FTW!

Up at roughly 88 hours now, give or take one or two if I have been sloppy in the early days of recording stuff. May pull this one off today, but certainly this weekend. Also hope to get most of the Bronze Nod campaign out of the way. Fuck knows what it will be like on Hard because even on easy it is a pain. Also need to get back to the Saboteur...mop up some of the Freeplay events...hundreds of them.

You do what you need to do. Vice Destroyer will look at your gamercard and be in awe of your dedication.![]()
I should really get on with Dead Space and NBA 2K10. But first? Glass of wine. It's nearly midday, after all.
You have inspired me to crack open a bottle now![]()
