Lorna and I watched the pilot, snorted at how their fancy schmancy bullshit gadget was able to trace a victim's skull in full 3D or something like that, which is fair enough, but a few clicks of the keyboard later by some twat and BOOM... a holographic reconstruction of the murder in graphic detail. Just like that. We switched it off, never to return.

With most new shows I always watch a few just incase the pilot wasn't the best example of what the show could be, plus I gave it a chance because I wanted too see David Boreanaz as another character. It turned out to be enjoyable but started to lose it's way around season 5.
Now we know.
I lost interest after he had the brain tumour. That episode was just so bad.
Now that you can watch Lovefilm stuff on the Xbox, they are slowly adding more stuff to it. Sat through the whole season of No Ordinary Family.
It's okay. Certainly worth watching if nothing else of interest is there to watch. Been also enjoying the adventures of a man-whore.
I keep being told about a show called Homeland. My colleague at work reckons it is awesome. Anybody seen it?

I need recommendations... STAT!! Just about to finish season 11 of Frasier, and we're probably getting close to the end of this season of Castle and Mentalist. The Office and Big Bang aren't that awesome these days anyway so I'm not that fussed, and Chuck is finished for good. Oh, and Dexter is already finished for another season.
I need ideas. Not fucking Twilight, Vampire Diaries or anything else that's all about teenage vampires.

Tell you what, me and my mates are watching Lost (been through season 1-5; we're halfway through 5 now)
It's cracking TV. Me and the 2 guys that I watch it with study writing (me), film and cinematography (Jordan) and philosophy (Harriet). As we're watching it, we're all deconstructing how it's put together, and all the little things they've done to make it great.
Seriously, it goes a bit off in some eps, but it's an amazingly intelligent and fascinating bit of TV. A showcase in writing talent. Shame no decent games were made for it - the universe is sitting there, wet and easy, waiting for some game-maker to take advantage of it.
I'm enjoying Once Upon A Time at the moment, haven't gone back to Grimm and still need to start the new season of Justified. Unforgettable isn't bad but a bit far fetched in places.
