Default Day 26: I've just wet myself

It's day 26 and today I'd like to hear all about your favorite horror games or even just those scary moments when a game makes you poop your pants and cry for mummy.

Or maybe you are desensitisd to it all now or maybe just incredibly brave and you want to tell us all about that scary game you laughed in the face of.

I don't get too scared in games but those fucking Thing dogs in Resi 4 can FUCK OFF.

I hate horror in games, but I've had a few moments I guess. I went through all of Resi 5 without being scared really... some early Witch encounters in L4D shit me up, though, lol. The music...

When I wasn't expecting the things at the end of Uncharted... fucking hell I screamed like a bitch.

Aliens vs Predator (the 1999 PC version, not the recent remake) was genuinely terrifying playing as the Marine. Dynamic lighting, excellent sound effects, the motion tracker and facehuggers LEAPING AT YOUR SCREEN.

This. Loved that game. They balanced the different areas, Marine was terrifying, you were this prey being stalked by all kinds of shit. Alien you were an incredible creatues you had speed and stealth on your side but were still vunerable. Where the predator was incredible to play as, you felt like a total bad ass the entire time.

When I was about 10 I snuck into my Dad's game collection and filched a game called Run Like Hell. After 20 minutes I quietly returned it and never slept again.

Dead Space was fucking scary at the beginning but got predictable very quickly. Right now I shit my pants when playing Arkham Asylum, thanks to Killer Croc. That bastard suddenly jumps at windows right in front of me, threatening me to tear my skin like paper. I quit as soon as I got the quest to crawl into his nest.

Dead Space. First enemy. As in the one you have to run away from 'cos you don't have the weapons. I screamed like a little girl.

Really? That's surprising imo. I wouldn't touch Dead Space if you paid me but Croc didn't bother me... he was kinda cool.
