I had exactly the same issue with Harvey's New Eyes, also by Daedalic. They make outstanding games, but are almost always let down by the endings.

The only times it hasn't really been terrible for them is the Deponia series, because they at least build up to the endings and have a good explanation for why nothing's been resolved.
Dead or Alive 4 has made me angry and a little sad. What was the point of putting in a boss that can kill in 2 moves, both of which are unblockable? It's a joke, an absolute joke. The game was pretty fun up until then too

Most Wanted just put a car out in the world that gave the appearance of being usable. Except when you tried to it insisted you pay. Jerk offs.
Also, playing this game gives me a horrible headache, because white flashes happen constantly.
