When he says 3D does he mean 3D graphics or 3D like when watch a film in 3D and the stuff look like their coming out the screen? when done right anyway

He means 3D as in either LCD shutter glasses like Nvidia and like Sony's new TV as well as polarised 3D as with LG's TVs that we saw at PAX with Mortal Kombat. I prefer polarised 3D and will likely avoid 3D until such times as polarised is the norm. I'm not sure that'll happen though, as with Betamax and HD DVD or anything else that's decidedly better... it'll likely lose out to the inferior format.
