Reminds me of my horrible public transport day last summer in Glasgow. Next time I go up there, remind me to drive by myself. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with Glasgow?

I try to find the shuttle bus that brings me to the airport and end up running through the rain, searching for the ACTUAL busstop since they changed it to an other, further away from the trainstation. But there was no bus. Sure, it drove by me several times, but it never stopped. Took me almost an hour to actually find the station and guess what, it was on the other side of the street from the original station.

So yeah, UK you know I like you and stuff, but your public transport system can go fuck itself.

I'm trying to do the last essay I need to do for the next two/three weeks, and my teacher told me last week that there's a quote in the notes that would be perfect for the essay I'm trying to do.
So I start looking through my notes, and I can't find it.
I know exactly what quote she's talking about, because I remember reading it, but I've spent the last hour going through every single one of my handouts painstakingly trying to find this one quote, meaning that I've either skimmed it every single time, or that I've lost the hand out. Either way, I've lost an hour of essay time, and an extra 5 minutes moaning about it on here.
It's not even a good complaint, it's just frustrating that I don't know where it is, and it would have saved my essay from being pretty terminally shit. Bah, humbug.
Still, after this I have a week off, so

Buying a plane ticket and having the airline cancel your flight? That's annoying. The airline company then explaining that a refund will take between 3-4 weeks? That's even more annoying. Thanks for the advice Jo, but in the end I just winged the essay as best I could, then found Woolf's essay in its entirity online, but not the specific quote, but I reckon using the wider speech rather than that tiny bit will probably work better in the long run. To be fair, it's only a first draft so if it didn't work I can always try again next time Thank you though
