Oooooooh it's an invisible signature... oooooooooh!!
Life's greatest battles, often are fought alone.
Fundamentally I'd say that it isn't, as both are examples of communist nations forcing people to train absurdly long hours in crappy conditions just to try and impress the Western world and look big.
China is just more duplicitous about how it does things these days. Entertainment before an athletics competition is much easier to watch and smile along with than jackbooted soldiers marching beside a tank. Actually, for that reason, I find that a little scarier.
Well they do try and stand tall amongst the other countries in the halls of the UN, heh. I'd suspected elevator shoes, like Sarkozy uses. Stilts makes much more sense. Also make it harder still to do that marching of theirs.
I don't really understand the logic of these big military parades - all they do is show that they can march in time and that they have shit equipment - in that video the troops are sporting 60's rifles and RPGs, the missiles are old SCUDs that are only a menace if you live near to the Korean or Chinese borders, and their tanks are their own design developed from bits of old Soviet tanks.
And yet somehow they've spent 20-25% of their GDP on this junk.
that's marching? looks like their walking along to some dance music or maybe some techno music, I don't know anything about different music genres. I've always found North korea fascinating![]()
