At last a way of telling everyone here about my secret second life as the king of the potato people! I've needed to get it off my chest for so long now.

I have a suggestion/request but dunno where to put it and since this has something to do with profiles I thought this might be the best place for it. What about adding a new section to profile where you can list games currently being played and a computer information section so you can put in your computer specifications for others to see then they know how powerful your PC is and how good it is at gaming, you could even brag about the power of your PC

When you consider how few people would actually use it, that's asking a lot of Ben... he'd have to create the custom fields, create the fields in the database tables, assign them so they talk to each other, write them in to the templates so that when they're filled in they would display on the page but when they were left blank they'd be visible... so I reckon you're on to plums for that one

Can't you just type it in your sig?

EDIT: Figured I'd give it a shot but decided to go with a graphic instead of typing it

    Sounds awesome, Ben!

Edit: How do I get to it, just through clicking through to my profile settings?

What about something like this It shows a option under the users name which when clicked on drops a menu that shows the computer specs for that user. I've always liked these kinda things on forums where you get a couple of buttons under the users picture that shows you loads of options instead of having tons of space used up by the options, although here it's not really a issue

Decided to create my own lil graphic for signature is it too big?

A nice mod but sadly it's for a much older version of vBulletin and the thread hasn't been updated for over a year now

I understand what you're saying and during the alpha stage of the forums there was the option to input your computer specs (among other things) but it was evident that the user_postbit was far too big and cumbersome. Drop down menus are nice but I'm not convinced they are the answer, people tend to only want to click what they can physically see and not what they have to go and find.

It is possible that extra profile fields will be added, which can then be displayed and in turn viewed via clicking onto someone's profile page but as of now it's not top priority

    Your signature image is fine
