I’ve been playing games for many years, my main gaming platforms through that time have been the Commodore 64, SNES, Playstation (1 and 2) and Xbox (original and 360). I never owned a Sega machine until the Dreamcast, and then Sega didn’t make another console (not my fault).
With the increasing amount of multiplayer gaming available nowadays, I remain a fan of the single player experience; progressing through a game at my own pace. Usually venturing into multiplayer only when there’s an achievement available.
