About the author...
Hi there, I'm Ellis, I'm 18 and I'm an addict. My addiction to buying indie game bundles can be traced back to an very early age where, if a SEGA Mega Drive controller was not in my hands playing Sonic, often a Game Boy with Pokemon Blue was in them instead. Over time I slowly moved away from these and on to the PC, where I used to play such classics as 'Pet Soccer' and 'Michael Vaughan's Cricket Manager' for many an hour, after foolishly buying them at full price at a store called 'MVC' on a device called a 'CD-ROM'. Oh how times have changed.

Again, I hopped platforms and this time jumped on to the PlayStation 2 bandwagon, where such greats as 'Fightbox' and 'Alex Ferguson's Player Manager 2001' were bought at stupidly cheap prices. After many years building a collection of games as tall as myself, I moved to the XBox 360, where I discovered a weird beast known as 'XBox Live Indie Games', which I tamed and started to write about. This would act as the gateway drug back into PC gaming, which brings me to the point I'm at now.

Now, when I'm not battling through my backlog of PC games, I'm also working towards a degree in Game Development, hoping that a career in the industry will allow me to continue my bundle habit, while making some decent games along the way. You can also find me on Twitter @ellisspice, often ranting and rambling about games and how much I hate train journeys.
