Starcraft II Sells 1 Million In 24 Hours

The figures are in and just in case anyone was in any doubt, Starcraft 2 blew all other contenders out of the water with record sales, sealing victory as best selling game of 2010 so far. Activision Blizzard have confirmed that Starcraft II, Wings of Liberty, the long awaited sequel to one of their bestselling games, sold over 1 million copies in the first 24 hours of launch. Hardly surprising, given how long players have had to wait and we expect it to be dominating the charts for weeks, if not months to come.
