Exclusive Total War Screening at EI10

Even the boxart kicks arse...

For those warlike gamers, itching to get their teeth into a meaty strategy game, then Shogun 2: Total War  may just fit the bill.  Better yet, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the highly acclaimed Total War strategy series, The Creative Assembly will be offering up an exclusive screening at this year’s Edinburgh Interactive 2010.

Attendees will be treated to an insight into the history and evolution of the Total War series, along with an exclusive demo of Shogun 2: Total War – the sixth installment in the strategy franchise.  Not only is the screening free to attend as part of the public program of events, but there will be an audience Q&A.

Mike Simpson, Creative Director at The Creative Assembly, and the man who will be helming the screening and Q&A said:

“We’re looking forward to revealing the history and evolution of the series during its first decade to Total War fans at Edinburgh Interactive, as well as detailing how recent technological developments have allowed us to portray one of history’s most exciting civil wars in Shogun 2: Total War.”

More juicy details about Total War can be found on the official website and if you are interested in Edinburgh Interactive, then more can be found here.
