Fable 3 in Episodic Non-Shocker

Well, who’d have guessed it?  Everybody?  Well, regardless, Peter Molyneux has unveiled that Fable 3 will be distributed under the similar episodic model as Fable 2 was, ‘soon after’ the more traditional retail release.

Journos who reported from the floor of the GameHorizon Conference where Molyneux was speaking also revealed that, after criticising the traditional demo format currently prevalent on Live, Molyneux has other plans, with the first hour of Fable 3 being free as the demo, leaving users on a cliffhanger and with a choice to make to buy the next episode or the full game.  With over 1.5 million users reportedly downloading the first free episode of Fable 2, it was always to be expected.
