TopWare Announce Planets at War

Not content with sucking away the lives of several GamingLives writers with the delectable Two Worlds II, TopWare Interactive have today announced another potential time-sink in the shape of Planets at War.  Billed as a ‘strategic interplanetary conflict simulator’ (say that when you’ve had a few), players will have the chance to control one of four races and do what we gamers do best: duff people up and take their stuff (in gaming terms, Daily Mail readers, in gaming terms).  Players will be expected to manage their forces properly in order to take on Johnny Space-Foreigner in series of increasingly tough scenarios with a diverse range of enemies, bosses, and planets to be pulverised or captured.

The unique, vibrant graphical style certainly caught our eye and with 32 campaign levels, and online and team modes to keep gamers busy, we have to say that it is one to watch out for.  No release date has been announced as of yet, but the game will be hitting the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.  And the MAC.
