Diablo III Gets A Hot Date… Release Date, That Is

A little game called Diablo III may have garnered a tiny bit of interest over these last few months… okay, okay, we jest… so, this big boy RPG has had fans salivating at the thought of the release more than us over the thought of Stana Katic/Ilkka Villi (delete as appropriate) in a bubble bath and, finally, it seems that the date for Diablo III is set. 15th May is the big day, as announced today by Blizzard, and thankfully that date is pretty much global, with Europe on equal release footing to the US for once – other publishers take note.

Pre orders of the threequel in the critically acclaimed RPG series have now opened and players who want to get in their early and snag their digital copy should venture over to Blizzard.

“After many years of hard work by our development team and months of beta testing by hundreds of thousands of dedicated players around the world, we’re now in the homestretch,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We look forward to putting the final polish on Diablo III over the next two months and delivering the ultimate action-RPG experience to gamers worldwide starting on May 15.”
