Nights Into Dreams HD Announced
by GL News
The much loved SEGA classic, Night Into Dreams will be getting the HD treatment, SEGA have revealed. Teased via Facebook earlier this year, the HD remake will be appearing on XBLA and PSN later in the year, offering the chance for gamers who never splashed out on the oft forgotten SEGA Saturn to sample one of its more surreal and much-loved titles.
“The Sega Saturn offered many unique gaming experiences, and Nights into dreams stands out as one of the most recognisable titles that found a home on the system,” said Chris Olson, SEGA VP of digital business. “We’ve gotten a lot of requests about this game over the years, and are very happy to be able to give both former Saturn owners and new players a chance to play it in its most beautiful form to date this autumn.”
In a neat twist, the game will feature the option, as with the recent Monkey Island HD remakes that came to XBLA, to play the game either in the new HD mode or in a classic “Saturn Mode” mode, with the original graphics switched on.
