Mortal Kombat PS Vita Banned In Australia
by GL News
Alas, another release bites the dust for our Aussie cousins, thanks to their country’s lack of an R18+ rating. The latest casualty is Mortal Kombat for the PS Vita (we saw that one coming), leaving frustrated gamers in the position of having to import it or miss out. Thankfully, after a long and hard road, the R18+ rating is on the way, but it won’t be arriving until next year, meaning that in the interim, many great titles are bouncing off the sanitising shield around the country and slipping out of reach. We can only sympathise, just as we do when our German chums suffer similar restrictions. It may be a frustrating wait yet, but at least there is a chink of light at the end of a very long, weary tunnel for Aussie gamers. Hang in there mates. In the meantime, import that fucker.
