Victoria II – A House Divided on Diplomacy
by GL News
For those of you who have been living in the dark (ages), Victoria II is a colonial-era strategy game from Paradox Interactive where expansion and colonisation is the key, with a view to building a powerful nation to carry you through from the 19th to the 20th century. In a particularly well-considered move, the developers have gone balls deep in terms of the meticulous levels of detail within every aspect of negotiation and diplomatic relations.
The upcoming expansion, A House Divided, comes some eighteen months after the original game was released and looks set to take this grand strategy to the next level. In a series of developer diaries, Executive Producer, Johan Andersson discusses the various changes and additions that the expansion brings. In this particular diary, we’re introduced to the changes in diplomacy.
