Who Wants To Be A Starfleet Millionaire?

YES! I know my Kirk trivia as well as I know my teas!

If there’s one thing sure to be dragged out from the woodwork at a party hosted by uber geeks, it’s the board game.  Next up is usually the asshat that thinks they know everything and questions whatever is written on the card when their answers are, invariably, incorrect.  Imagine our delight when we discovered that it’s possible to take that geekometer and turn it up to eleven!  Yes folks, not only have Deep Silver decided to geekify Who Wants To Be A Millionaire by putting it on a shiny disc to satisfy us techno nerds, but they’ve kept hitting that volume control with a phaser until it clicked past all the way to twelve… by including a Star Trek question pack!

The nerdgasm doesn’t quite end there though, as the studio set is thrown aside for something a little more fitting…

The Star Trek: The Original Series -Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Special Edition features the authentic look & feel of the popular science-fiction television series, as well as 600 questions based on the classic Star Trek universe. The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? studio is set aboard a Constitution-class starship bridge; the host, audience, lifelines and contestants are all themed around the original Star Trek series. Players can choose from four avatars – Lt. Uhura, a Vulcan officer, a human cadet and an Orion slavegirl. The Phone-A-Friend lifeline also features eight characters from this iconic science-fiction universe.

So this Christmas, which is now only 339 days away, give the gift of joy and embarrassment all at the same time.  Game will be available on XBLA and PSN in February… so think long and prosper people.
