Bizarre Creations To Close?

The UK gaming industry takes another blow today as the latest revelations rocket around the net about the closure of Liverpool based developer, Bizarre Creations. Owned by Activision, Bizarre are responsible for titles such as 007 Blood Stone and the colur-fest racer, Blur, along with hits such as Project Gotham Racing and the classic Geometry Wars. According to MCV, Activision have tried and failed to find a buyer, so have made a recommendation for closure. Whether there will be a last minute save or not is anybody’s guess – we can but hope because if not, it will be yet another sad loss for UK development.
