PAX To Go International?

Well, PAX is now over, having drawn in over 67,000 visitors, and now, the dynamic duo behind the large consumer expo have teased about the possibility of an international event.  With PAX perched among the top branches of gaming events, international gamers have always been left pressing their noses to the glass as the cost of a plane ticket to Seattle makes their stomach flip.  However, with the Boston based PAX spin-off, PAX East, sucking in over 52,000 attendees itself, it seems that the expo certainly has the legs for a third event.

According to Gamasutra, the choice of international destination would “likely take place in a different country; preferably somewhere the duo want to visit.” Considering that three day passes to PAX East sold out a month before the expo, it would appear that demand is high, regardless of location and date, and for gamers outside the US, any news of an international event is great news.  Make it so, we say.

Long overdue, and needs to be made a reality. Anywhere outside the US would work, but either mainland Europe or the UK would be the most likely destinations.

*prays for this to become real*

Would *love* for this to be a UK event. With Germany getting the lion’s share of the European gaming events, we could do with this.
