Swarm Trailers Reveal Blue Chaos

Vancouver based developer, Hothead games have today released a batch of chaotic trailers, showing off their upcoming game, Swarm.  Due for a multiplatform release in 2011, Swarm is a fast paced action platformer wherin the player takes control of a swarm of 50 fearless creatures in a bid to gather precious DNA.

With frenetic gameplay, bringing to mind an odd blend of Lemmings and Pikmin, coupled with a healthy slice of sadism, the game has you guide your miniature blue Swarmites through scenes of intense carnage.  As shown in the gleefully abusive trailer, the game appears to take the General Melchett view of proceedings in that as long as only one Swarmite survives, that is all that matters.
