Activision Move To Save RW Talent

With the sad news that Crackdown devs, Realtime Worlds have gone into administration, it seems, that all may not be lost for the tragic developer’s talent.  Activision have reportedly sent a team of staffers to Dundee to stage a recruitment event to target those who are about to or have, lost their jobs.  While Realtime Worlds hopes to find a buyer, other studios, including the Creative Assembly and Blitz games are also mobilising staff to try and save some of Realtime Worlds’ talent from slipping through the cracks.

Sad times indeed for the UK gaming industry, however, with Gamasutra reporting that the PR firm for the administrator is hinting at interest from US and UK buyers, perhaps all hope is not yet lost.  Fingers crossed.
