Batman: TBATB DS Vignette

With the release of Batman: The Brave and the Bold creeping ever closer for both the Wii and DS, Warner Bros have revealed a vignette trailer for the DS version which gives a first look at playable sidekick, Red Tornado and villains which include Clock King and Morgan Le Fey.

Batman: TBATB appears to be, very much, a co-op experience, with the ability for players to team up and squabble over who gets to play our favourite grumpy crime-fighter and who gets to be the ‘trusty sidekick’ from a choice of characters which include Green Lantern, Blue Beetle, and yes, even Robin (if you must).

Each character possesses unique abilities to aid progress, making teamwork crucial and not dissimilar in style to the Lego games and even Disney titles of old.

The trailer shows off a surprisingly rich, pixel-art style and with side-scrolling action and the game includes the, now standard, puzzles and ability to upgrade Batman’s kit. It should keep young and ‘young at heart’ Batman fans happy until Arkham City arrives.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold swoops into shops on September 10th, Batarangs and power rings at the ready.
