Warriors of Rock gets HEAVY!

When music gaming became interactive, they said it probably wouldn’t catch on.  How wrong “they” were!  Now five years on from the very first Guitar Hero launched, Activision announce a glimpse into the track listing for their upcoming “Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock” release.  To say that it has a varied mix from light rock to metal would be a gross understatement, but the range of bands featured within the 90+ track listing ensures that there will be something for everyone.

If having a list of great songs isn’t enough there’s also the added bonus of having The Fire-Breathing-Blood-Spitting King Of Cool himself , Gene “I will not remove my shades… ever” Simmons as the Demi God.

“The world is a boring place. Come with me, and enter a world populated of Demi-Gods and Beasts. Transform from an everyday person and become the savior of rock and roll,” said Gene Simmons of KISS.  “It was an honour and privilege to narrate Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, even more so, to voice the Demi God. From the God of Thunder to the Demi-God, how cool is that…”

Warriors Of Rock also comes with a new play mode of Quickplay+, featuring thirteen unique challenges for all of the included tracks as well as most of the tracks from Guitar Hero World Tour onwards, incluing both in-game and DLC songs.  As well as classics old and new, Warriors Of Rock also showcases “Sudden Death”, which was specially written for the game by Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine and is inspired by the main quest storyline.  With the promise of some serious shredding, an all-new controller accompanies the game which was “inspired and born from the game’s unique art style and specifically made for shredding.”
