Bad news for hedgehog fans as SEGA has confirmed that Episode 1 of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has been pushed back until a late 2010 release.
To make up for it SEGA confirmed what everyone seemingly already knew by announcing the next instalment in the long running series will also be shipping on iPhone and iPod Touch. This means that it will now ship across a number of formats including Microsoft XBLA, Sony PSN, Nintendo WiiWare and the iTunes App Store.
